Remember how people have fun trying to figure out how old their dog was in human years? But now there's a new fad. Figuring out how old your car is, in "people-years". Here's the formula:
- Take the mileage on the car's odometer and divide by the model year.
- The result is your car's age if it were a person.
- Example: a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier with 131,824 miles on it.
- Do the math: 131824/1994 = 66.1.
- That car would be a 66 year old person
Teachers say they can identify the naughtiest kids, as well as the brightest kids and the most popular kids, on the first day of school* just by looking at their names. 3,000 school teachers were surveyed and concluded that 49% "expect" children with certain names to have certain personality characteristics* and they have these expectations before they've ever met the kids.
- Top 10 names of the naughtiest boys: Callum, Connor, Jack, Daniel, Brandon, Charlie, Kyle, Liam, Jake, Brooklyn.
- Top 10 names of the naughtiest girls: Chelsea, Courtney, Chardonnay, Aleisha, Casey, Crystal, Jessica, Brooke, Demi and Aisha.

How TALL will your child be???
Use this formula to find out! Add the Father's height and the Mother's height, divide by two, then add 2 3/4 inches for a boy....subtract 2 3/4 inches for a girl. There ya go! Did it work for you? Leave a comment below and let us know!

If your brain works normally this is neat.
This is another example of an amazing illusion!!! The last sentence is so true.
If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots will remain only one color, pink. 
However if you stare at the black '+' in the center, the moving dot turns to green.
Now, concentrate on the black ' + ' in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.
It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear.
This should be proof enough; we don't always see what we think we see.

(9/14/2009 9:29:31 AM) According to your formula, I should be 5'4". I'm actually 5'7". The doctor told my parents I was supposed to 5'10", but years of gymnastics training stunted my growth. If your formula was right, all brothers and all sisters with the same parents would be the same height. That's rare! |
