Live and loud—that’s the best way to enjoy the music of the Mavericks, whose catalog of crowd-favorites include “What a Crying Shame,” “Here Comes the Rain” and “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down.”
With more than 20 tour dates this fall, including stops in Florida, Texas, New York, Virginia and Canada, there’s a good chance the four-piece is coming to a city near you. But if you can’t catch them live, we’ve got the next best thing: the Mavericks are releasing a new album, All Night Live Volume I, on Oct. 14.
The new album is curated from the Maverick’s 2015 Mono Mundo Tour and features 16 songs, including recent singles “All Night Long” and “Summertime.”
Nash Country Daily has the exclusive premiere of the new album’s “Back in Your Arms Again,” a song originally recorded on their 2013 album, In Time, which was the band’s first new music in almost 10 years.
“This is the song that made all of this happen again,” says frontman Raul Malo. “It sort of forced the issue and made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.”
