Carrie Underwood- What an Amazing Show!

On Saturday night I had the pleasure of seeing Carrie Underwood live at Wells Fargo Arena!

This show on the later leg of the Cry Pretty 360 tour did not disappoint.

She had her stage set up differently than most shows at The Well do. The stage was cut out like the Cry Pretty eye design from the album. It was in the center of the arena and she walked all around it throughout the night. Plus, there was this really cool drape above the stage that special effects were projected onto.

Her set up was probably one of the best I’ve ever seen. So was her opening! When she came out onto stage, a whole new energy came into the room.

Can you believe it has been 15 years since we first discovered Underwood via American Idol? I couldn’t! I had also forgotten how many songs I’ve truly enjoyed by Carrie. She has had so many hits and it was cool hearing them throughout the night, even the ones I’d kind of forgotten about!

Carrie’s voice is something else in real life too. I’ve always known that she has one of the best voices in music, but I never realized how true that was before Saturday night.

My favorite part of the show was when Underwood brought openers Runaway June and Maddie and Tae back out to do a medley of classic country songs by legendary women of the genre. I absolutely loved hearing these songs being covered by such amazing talent! It felt really special.

I think everyone should see Carrie Underwood live at some point in their life. It will be good for you! I know it was good for me!

Oh, and one more thing! Before the show, I had the chance to meet Runaway June and Maddie and Tae! Love both of these acts so much, and it meant a lot to me meeting them. I think they all will be in the country music business in a big way for a long time to come!
