This morning the Country Music Hall of Fame announced their latest inductees!
Jerry Lee Lewis, Keith Whitley and Joe Galante will become the newest members of the CMHOF.
Jerry Lee Lewis has been in the business for a long time. Known for his raving piano skills that burst onto the rock and roll scene in the 1950’s, Lewis has also released his fare share of country music too.
And of course…his influence across music as a whole can’t be denied.
Keith Whitley made a huge impact on the country music genre before sadly passing away in 1989. With classics like “I’m No Stranger To The Rain” and “Don’t Close Your Eyes” showcasing his timeless style and vocals.
Whitley’s music will be in the hearts of country music fans forever.
Finally, music executive Joe Galante. Some may not know his name at first glance, but Galante has had a major impact behind the scenes by helping promote the careers of artists like Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and many more. His time at RCA Records was one for the record books.
All three of the newest inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame will be honored in a ceremony this October.
