When I was back home in Wisconsin over the weekend, my kiddos took me to an old fashioned speakeasy in Milwaukee. I had a couple of phone calls after I talked about, and some thought maybe it was a place called the ‘Safe House,’ but it was actually Don’s TV & Repair Speakeasy. There’s another unique one in Milwaukee that a listener referenced called The Safe House (that now I want to try). I’m still not sure if that’s what this caller was referencing or the one I was at – either way, what a cool experience.

It’s an easy 5.5 hour drive from the metro. Go explore Milwaukee, you won’t be disappointed.
