I told her quote, “you will always be my baby, it doesn’t matter how old you get!” And after I told this story on the morning show I received this message on the KJJY Facebook page:

You almost had me in tears driving to work. Brought back memories living in Toledo, Iowa. Small town. Dad would pull up, go in pay for my gas if he saw us kids or the grandkids pumping gas. He would scrape my car in the winter if snow and ice. Start it for a while make sure it ran. I by no means was treated like a princess-but loved. He couldn’t say he loved you but showed by fatherly instincts. Your doing a great job! Keep it up. Macy will remember it!
