YouTube. It’s the place where you can share videos about almost anything you want. People can show off their hobbies in video form for the world to see.
Recently, a friend here at work helped me discover a person who loves to camp and make videos about his experiences. Steve Wallis is his name.
Wallis’ YouTube Channel is full of videos that feature him documenting each one of his excursions. From setting up shelter all the way to cooking food and tearing down camp.
I don’t know how Steve does it, his videos are so simple but very intriguing. I got sucked into a little YouTube rabbit hole while watching! I find him very calming and he makes me want to go out and adventure myself!
I think my favorite video I’ve seen of Steve’s so far is the one where he rents a U-Haul and camps out overnight in it. If that weren’t enough, the temperature was 35 below! The video has done very well for Wallis, it currently has 2.5 Million views!
If you are an avid camper, I highly recommend Steve. But even if you are like me and don’t camp often, these videos are a nice watch!
YouTube is amazing for a lot of reasons, but this is the kind of content I absolutely love. Getting a chance to look into other people’s hobbies inspire me to explore my own more.
