I’m a big believer in the benefits of reading and look forward to introducing you to some amazing books you can add to your home library. I’m grateful that my passion for getting lost in a good book has passed down to my oldest granddaughter (Nalani). I’m very proud of my daughter (Makenzie) for making reading a priority in her home, and building a special library for her daughter to treasure for years to come. I ordered ‘Ten Beautiful Things‘ by Molly Beth Griffin (illustrated by Maribel Lechuga) for Nalani, and hope she finds meaning in the lessons beautifully articulated in the book.

It’s a heartfelt story of changing perspectives, set right here in Iowa. It explores loss, a new home, and finding beauty wherever you are. Lily and her grandmother search for ten beautiful things as they take a long car ride to Iowa and Lily’s new home.
