On Your Mark, get set, GO! The Sparkle Run 5K and Family Fun Run is back on May 2nd at DMACC Campus in Ankeny. The Sparkle Fun Run is a run & walk that brings families and friends together to help raise money for various charities and projects around Iowa.

This year’s Sparkle Run will take place on Sunday, May 2nd, at the DMACC Ankeny Campus located at 2006 S Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA. Packet Pick-Up and Family activities be held from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. The 5k Run & Walk will begin at 2 p.m. and the 1-Mile Fun Run for kids at 3 p.m. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children.

This year, the charity of choice is Child Life at Blank and Mercy Hospitals. Child Life will use the funds to provide fun activities for kids during their stay in the hospital. So break out those tennis shoes and get ready to support a great cause. Register or donate now at sparklerun.org.
